The Associate of Applied Science Degree in Aviation Technology is designed specifically for students who have a desire to work in aviation-related careers. Thorough coverage of the Federal Aviation Regulations will apply to all aspects of study. The degree will provide the application of concepts pertaining to airport and aircraft operations for domestic and international flights.
Students may select from Track options that place an emphasis on either Professional Pilot or Flight Operations areas of study. The degree will prepare students to enter the employment market as Professional Pilots, Flight Crew Members, OR, Flight Operations Specialist, Crew Scheduler, Flight Follower, Customer Service Representative, Aircraft Servicing Personnel.

Elite has partnered with Piedmont Airlines to create an Airline Career Training Program that offers employment to students before they begin flight training. By successfully passing program screening, you will begin an all-inclusive aviation training program with rigorous professional flight standards, career guidance and concurrent. Our program will provide you with a comprehensive learning experience and a defined path to employment.
During your training, you will receive professional pilot mentorship and will develop leadership, professionalism and crew management skills. With four days of flight training per week, You can become a flight instructor within 18 months and complete the program within 24 months!
About Piedmont Airlines

Pilots within as little as 700 hours can interview with Piedmont, if selected Piedmont will assist the students in attaining their remaining flight hours by reimbursing the student $130 per flight hour. Do you offer financing?
Elite Flight Training offers its students many options for financial aid available through banks, credit unions and private lending institutions.
VA Funding Programs
Funding programs are available for Veterans and Active Duty personnel alike. For more information please complete the Enroll now form and and we will forward you the most current information.
Federal student loans are granted by the government at fixed and variable rates and are available to anyone regardless of credit history. To qualify, a student must remain at an accredited university at least half of the time to be eligible. Students who train while enrolled in College of Southern Nevada will gain access to these benefits.
Federal Student Aid
This application is used for financial aid from the Department of Education. To determine your eligibility, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA) no later than February 15th each year funding is sought.
AOPA Student Finance
AOPA Student Financing offers students a clear plan to financing their flight training. This program is offered as a private loan to the student, you can request funding amounts from $5,000 through complete training packages. This program has been great for out students when used to supplement your flight training and get you completed faster ultimately saving money.
Pilot Finance has been giving student pilots for years. This program is offered as a private loan to the student, you can request funding amounts from $1,000 to $25,000 for one ratings. This program is great and can be used to supplement your flight training and get your current rating completed faster.
How often do I get to fly?
You will fly a lot! Our fixed pricing programs require that you maintain 4 scheduled lessons each week to ensure proper progression. We have equipment and instructor availability 7 days a week and can easily work with you around your existing schedule.
What are the job prospects after completion?
Job prospects for professional pilots right now are extremely good overall, and guaranteed for our Piedmont career program students. Pilot demand is forecast to increase sharply over the next several years, and there is a severe lack of trainees in the pipeline. Now is the time to begin training for your exciting new career!
When can I start?
We have students start almost every day and will work with you on your schedule.
If you will be participating in one of our partner programs (College, International, Financial Aid) there are specific start dates that are used to get everyone lined up together. Generally these classes start every 5-8 weeks so you are never to far from the next start date. Remember the enrollment process with our partners can take up to 4 weeks to complete (generally less than 2 weeks), so plan ahead and start the process asap.
